Article preview card using tailwindcss and vanilla javascript

I ran into a lot of issues while doing this challenge

1. The image isn't quite the same in the design and in my solution how can I fix that?
2. I used absolute positioning to replicate the active states and make the icons div positioned properly , is there any better way to do it?
3. The share icon's color should be white when active but I couldn't figure out how to make it white any suggestions?
