Age Calculator with an animated result

What are you most proud of, and what would you do differently next time?

This was a great challenge and I'm proud that I finished it!

What challenges did you encounter, and how did you overcome them?

I had a bit of trouble animating the final result but after some thinking and research I was able to figure it out! I used window.requestAnimationFrame() to animate the numbers and also added a time interval between each number being animated (after the years had been animated the program waited 0.5s to animate the months).
