👾Hi @saminstein, congratulations for your first solution!👋 Welcome to the Frontend Mentor Coding Community!
Amazing solution! I’ve just opened the solution’s live site and I liked the job you’ve done a lot. I’ve some suggestions for you:
Your solution is great and the code is working, but the html structure can be reduced by removing unnecessary divs, all you need is a single
<main>
or<div>
to keep all the content inside, and nothing more. The ideal structure is thediv
and only the image, heading and paragraph.Here’s one example to show can be cleaner this HTML structure:
<body> <main> <img src="./images/image-qr-code.png" alt="Qr Code Image" > <h1>Improve your front-end skills by building projects</h1> <p>Scan the QR code to visit Frontend Mentor and take your coding skills to the next level</p> </main> </body>
It is not advisable to use IDs as CSS selectors because if another element in the page uses the same/similar style, you would have to write the same CSS again. Even if you don't have more than one element with that style right now, it might come later.
✌️ I hope this helps you and happy coding!
