  I'm curious, why did you use "max-device-width" for media queries?

  I see that Media Queries Level 4 specification draft lists them as deprecated, kept only for backward compatibility. On MDN, this feature also appears as deprecated device-width. Because of this, on desktop, the page isn't responsive if the window is resized.
