  For your question, I think the challenge is to try and replicate the design as much as possible. Front End Developer skills are based on being able to mirror what a designer provides. Adding variance only when it has been discussed prior with the client/designer. In this case you nailed the design!

  If you add the 'alt' attribute to your <img> tags then you would remove all accessibility issues in the code.
